A division in Brazil has published the first photos of the updated Renault Sandero 2020. The first models of the updated Sandero will be for the South American market, in the future they plan to deliver to Europe. According to representatives of the company, the updated Renault Sandero has a different front and rear. At the front, the compact hatchback received a European style, it was under the European version that the front optics with integrated LED running lights were stylized. Following the optics, the front bumper and radiator grill with a redrawn style were upgraded.

The rear of the Renault Sandero has received more noticeable changes. In particular, these are LED feet, made in the style of the Megane RS model, as well as a new bumper, which has received a more modern shape and style. The technical characteristics of the new Renault Sandero 2020 remain the same. Taking into account the nameplate on the trunk lid, under the hood is a 1.6-liter SCe 116 engine with 115 horsepower. A liter unit with 85 horsepower is also available at the buyer's choice. As for the charged RS version, there is only a two-liter engine with 145 horsepower. It can be assumed that a variator will now be installed in pair with the units instead of the robotic gearbox.

As for the interior of the updated hatchback, including the Stepway version paired with RS equipment, changes are expected. In particular, a redesigned dashboard, updated door maps and modern seats. According to reliable information for the countries of Latin America, the new Renault Sandero 2020 will be assembled in Brazil, at the Curitiba plant. Closer to the official show of the novelty, the manufacturer will reveal detailed characteristics, configurations, and also announce prices for the new hatchback.
