The Russian representative office of the German automobile concern Audi has officially announced the prices for the new A3 model, the minimum cost of which in a hatchback body will be 1.629 million rubles.
In the body of a sedan, the car will cost 10 thousand more - 1.639 million rubles.
Such high prices are due to the depreciation of the ruble against the euro, and its predecessor was worth a lot - the base version with a 1.2 liter 110-horsepower gasoline engine cost at least 1.339 million. Now, as a "base", the company offers a car with 1.4 -liter engine developing 150 hp. and a complete 6-level manual transmission.
A car with a similar power unit, but with a 7-level "robot" will cost the Russians already 1.7 million. You can also choose an A3 with all-wheel drive and a 2-liter 190-horsepower gasoline engine, the price of which will be 1.914 million rubles. The car will be able to offer standard equipment: bi-xenon headlight optics, a multimedia system with a 7-inch touch screen and support for the Bluetooth protocol, as well as a wide range of electronic security systems and driver assistance.
Note that the main competitors of the Audi A3 also do not have a "comfortable" price tag. So, a 1-series BMW equipped with a 136-horsepower engine will cost at least 1.5 million rubles, and a 150-horsepower A-class from Mercedes costs at least 1.81 million rubles.
Citroen DS4, which is also equipped with a 150-horsepower engine and costs 1.685 million, can also be considered as competitors. Thus, the Audi A3 can be considered one of the best offers in its class on the Russian market.
